Yay!! I am ONE MONTH OLD today =D
Gregory Vess Moye, Jr. was born on December 12, 2011 and from that day forward has been an additional joy in my life and Greg's. Gloria is such a sweetheart to her little brother and an amazing help to her Mama and Daddy. She happily helps out with little Greg Jr ,and around the house, without even asking. What a blessing our kids are. Little Gloria especially likes to help change little Gregory's poopie diapers with the help of Grandma Gloria...haha!! Not really. She just likes to gawk and scream how gross it is.
Our son is a real noisemaker. I cannot or actually do not feel comfortable feeding him in public unless it's a loud place. My little grunter constantly, even in deep slumber, makes noises. Sometimes he sounds like a little bear or lion cub lol. Definitely won't be feeding my little guy at church. I'll be sure to use the Mother's Lounge instead. I can just imagine people's thoughts wondering if there's a wild animal underneath my nursing cover. Little do they know, the sounds come from a sweet little boy. LOL!! His little sounds always bring a smile to my face and at times wakes not only his Daddy up at night but his sister too. He takes us by surprise at times with his little squawks and squeaks.
Today he smiled, while awake, for the first time. As Daddy talked to him, Greg Jr. brightened his Dad's day by giving him a great big smile. It's amazing that the smallest things in life can give such great pleasure. Later on that day, he woke up from a nap and as I talked to him, he gave me a big grin too. How he made our day!!
He is currently weighing in at 12 lbs 4 oz (no wonder considering how much he eats...practically every hour whew). He is 22 1/4 inches and has long since said farewell to newborn clothing. Here are a few pics that were taken in his first few weeks:
